What we do

Accounting

Bookkeeping is an obligation, but it is not only an obligation. Kept properly it tells you every month where the business stands – not once a year, when nothing can be changed.

What this covers

Bookkeeping and VAT

Ongoing posting of your records, VAT returns (Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung) and the filings the tax office expects. Whether you file monthly or quarterly depends on your turnover – we will tell you which applies. Records can come to us digitally; a folder of paper is equally fine.

Annual accounts

Depending on legal form and turnover, either a cash-basis income statement (Einnahmen-Ausgaben-Rechnung) or double-entry accounts with a balance sheet and profit and loss account. We prepare them, derive the tax returns from them and go through them with you – not as figures to sign off, but as a picture of your year.

Payroll

Monthly payroll for your staff with the filings to the health insurance fund, the tax office and the municipality, registrations and deregistrations, annual pay statements. Plus the questions that sit alongside: what an employee really costs, how a bonus is treated, what applies during sick leave and untaken holiday.

How it runs

Taking over

We collect the data from your current firm. A change is possible at any time, cleanest at a year or month end – but not restricted to it.

The monthly cycle

You send records and time sheets, we post, file and send you the figures. If something is missing we ask – you do not have to keep track of it yourself.

Year end

After the financial year we prepare the accounts, settle open points with you and file. For companies we also handle publication at the commercial register.

What to bring

To change firms

Your last annual accounts, the current trial balance and the name of your present advisors. We collect the rest from them.

For payroll

Employment contracts, current time records and a list of any special payments. For new hires, the registration in good time before the first working day – in Austria that must be done before work begins.

Your contact

For this area Johannes Oberhuber is your first point of contact. Financial statements as well as VAT and international VAT planning are his focus.

Your contact stays the same throughout: you explain your situation once, not at every call. See the profile.
