Accessibility statement

Standard we aim for

This website is intended to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. It was tested with axe-core across all pages at 1440, 768 and 375 pixels wide: no violations. It reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels.

What is implemented

• A skip link as the first item in the tab order.
• Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element, at 3 pixels rather than the browser default.
• Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, large text at least 3:1, measured rather than estimated.
• Links in running text are underlined, not only coloured.
• Real landmarks, a continuous heading hierarchy, text alternatives for all images.
• Tap targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels; the menu button 44 by 44.
• The mobile menu can be operated by keyboard, closes with Escape and keeps focus inside while open.
• prefers-reduced-motion is respected: animation is switched off.
• Everything works without JavaScript.
• Self-hosted fonts, so no external requests for text rendering.

Known limitation

The information sheet on invoice requirements offered for download (rechnungsmerkmale-ustg.pdf) dates from 2014. It carries no structural information and has a faulty text encoding, so screen readers cannot read it reliably.
